This antenna implements Shakespeare's innovative filtering technology that helps get pager and Out-of-Band interference under control in installations demanding taller, higher-gain antennas. Working with your radio's own rejection circuitry, the 5018-FLT can actually improve the fidelity of your VHF radio. Except for the added filter, the 5018-FLT is otherwise like the acclaimed 5018.
