This box allows you, the user to put it in an area that is protected from water. The black box chassis is a corrosion proof, molded poly chassis. Rather than including a CD player as standard equipment with this unit, it features USB, i-pod and aux-in so that users can bring along their favorite music on a variety of portable media devices. (faceplate required MC-19, MC-18, or REM-45.)
